Hi Anna,

Think about everyday experiences that touch on self-esteem, vulnerabilities, insecurities, and yearnings. Life is full of moments where we share common struggles – failures, mistakes, hopes, dreams, worries. If you zero in on these by showing your character experiencing them, it will remind readers of a similar time where they felt the same thing, or went through the same thing. Hope this helps!
