Yes, theme is something I have been working on more over the last two years. It’s a tricky one. It might be that some of those themes crop up naturally just because of the setup.

Someone told me I “had to” write the premise of my story with just one sentence. I did it but it was choppy. Two sentences make it flow much better.

I know there are many ways to approach theme, even back-filling it after the first draft has been written. But for me, this is much more efficient.
