Between two jobs and studying full-time, caring for my 17, 11 and 10-year-old boys can be a time challenge but when you add wanting to write into the mix it can be a real strain. I appreciate the tips though and hope that by putting some of them into practice I can work towards finishing my first book.
I had never thought of treating writing like a job before it is a job. I think this tip is probably the one that resonates with me the most. Treat it like a job with real schedules and deadlines. I am hoping that I will be able to incorporate this into my weekly routines and achieve something.

I feel for all the parents with littles or teens right now. It is challenging. I watch Becca try to stay on top of her workload and wrestle with her kids and their school work…she’s a SAINT.

I have one son at home (21, so grown) and one not, and there are still challenges even with that. Hugs to all the parents out there – you guys are amazing. If you don’t get everything done that you hoped to, please be kind to yourself – you are under a lot of strain and family (and you!) need to come first.
