As an editor, I can honestly say sometimes being stuck as a writer isn’t a bad thing because it’s often your inner writer telling you that something isn’t quite working. Becca, thank you so much! I couldn’t agree more. Oftentimes, the inner arc is the missing component for so many of us. We can’t always figure out why a character wants what they want. In turning the concept of goal on its head, we can come at from another angle and pin down what they don’t want to lose instead as a way to get the story moving. It’s always wonderful to stop by.
