In reply to ANGELA ACKERMAN. Hi Angela, Right? We so often think of themes as being nebulous, but concrete events, choices, etc. all work together to create those nebulous impressions. So that means we can tweak the on-the-page details to change those impressions. :) Thanks again for letting me explore this topic!

Thank you for this. It is a helpful post. I struggle with themes, sometimes. In fact, it’s often when I’ve finished writing that I recognise the theme, or themes.
With this knowledge, I can go back and see how they are linked.
