This is a practical and inspiring post… a reminder that popularity is not quick. Us creatives can come up with other definitions for success than “hitting the big time.” We can achieve success as finishing a project. And finishing a project that makes us proud. And having a family or friend read it. Many people never hit the big time. But there’s success in continuing your craft. Persist, persist, persist. Thanks for this encouraging post.

Christina, Wow, I'm on the Anonymous Road! Yay! Now it's got a name. I stated writing when I was in my 20s. Moved on to poetry in my 30s. After that, for 3 decades I went on the Known Road through-- living abroad for 15 years, college, Advanced Degrees, and a paying job as a Nurse Practitioner. Co-authored books with friends. And finally, at age 81, I'm writing a historical fiction and on the road to self-publish.This has been a long, exciting Anonymous Road for me. So glad I read this post. Thank you. Christine
